     Martin immigrated on 6 Apr 1635 on the Planter, with wife Rachel, age 40, children Lea, age 10, Judith, age 8, and Martin, age 4.and with servants Marie Fuller, age 17, Richard Smith, age 14, and Richard Ridley, age 16.

He settled at Braintree. Wife Rachel was admitted to the church in Boston 8 Nov 1635, dismissed to the church of Braintree 16 Apr 1639. He deeded lands to his son John when he was about to marry Mary Monjoy; acknowledged 13 Aug 1657. His wife died 15 Sep 1651. He then married Elizabeth, widow of Roger Bancroft. His widow married 3rd, John Bridge. An agreement was made between Elizabeth, John and Martin Saunders, and Francis Eliot, all of Braintree, the widow and children of Martin Saunders, late of Braintree, was signed 28 Sep, and endorsed by Elizabeth Bridge, late widow of Martin Saunders, 7 Apr 1659..3
