     Her married name was Barton. Mae (?) and George Edwin Barton Jr. lived at 75 South 6th Avenue, Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in 1918. He was employed as a horseman by B. H. Demerest.9 Mae (?) and George Edwin Barton Jr. lived at 127 East Main Street, Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in 1920.10 Mae (?) and George Edwin Barton Jr. lived at Arch Street, Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, bt 1930 - 1934. George was employed as a laborer for the railroad in 1930. He was listed as a farmer in 1932.11,12,13 Mae (?) and George Edwin Barton Jr. lived at 18445 Bryant Street, at Van Nuys, San Fernando County, California, in 1939. He is also shown as living at 18441 Bryant Street in 1930 with Mary.14,15,16 Mae (?) lived in Fort Lee, Bergen County, New Jersey, a 1955.17 Mae married second a man named Harry [--?--], and lived in Eagleville, Pennsylvania, near Norristown. Where they lived became part of a state park, and they were allowed to stay there for the rest of their lives. John & Rowena Scott visited there around 1960, along with their son John and Ida Barton.18

     Research Note: a Mae Barton, b. 20 Jun 1888 (NJ), d. Jul 1983 in West Chester. SSN= 156-24-0276 (she is the only Mae Barton who died in PA whose SSN was issued in NJ.)19
