     Samuel Fitch was born on 4 Mar 1673/74 at Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2,3 He was the son of Samuel Fitch and Sarah Lane.1,4 Samuel Fitch married Elizabeth Walker, daughter of Joseph Walker and Sarah Wyman, on 20 Mar 1695/96 at Billerica, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.5,1 He married Eunice Taylor a 1717. She survived Samuel
--.6,1 He died on 4 Apr 1742 at Bedford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 68.1,7
     Samuel inherited property from his father, and also one fourth of the Winthrop farm from his grandfather, Job Lane. This farm was located in the part of Billerica that was included in the new town of Bedford in 1729. He fought in the 1706 Indian War, and was a town clerk and selectman.6

     Deacon Zachary Fitch was also known as Zachariah.3 He immigrated a 1633 to Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 He lived in the South Parish of Reading, now Wakefield, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, a 1640.1 He left a will on 18 Mar 1662. His will names children Samuel, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Jeremiah, Thomas and Sarah, wife of John Wesson, of Salem.4,1
