Isaac Hill Last Will & Testament
In the name of GOD, Amen. I, Isaac Hill of Dracutt in the County of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Carpenter, do make and publish my last Will and Testament, in manner following
First, I resign my soul into the hands of Almighty God, hoping and believing a remission of such by the merits and ---dicution[?] of Jesus Christ. And my body I commit to the earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix, herein after named. And my worldly estate I give and divise as follows:
First, I will and order that my just debts and Funeral charges be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named within one year after my decease.
I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife, Lucinda Hill, all my personal Estate wherever the same may be found, after paying my just debts and Funeral charges aforesaid and of the right to dispose of at pleasure.
I also give and bequeath to my said Wife the use of all my real estate situated partly in Dracutt aforesaid, and partly in Pelham in the County of Hillsborough and State of New Hampshire on condition that she maintain and educate my children until their marriage or arrival to the age of twenty one years. But should my said wife marry, it is my will that she have the use of one third part of my said real estate and that the remainder to be equally divided between my four Children, to wit, Lucinda Hill, Dorcas Miriam Hill, Sarah Emaline Hill, and Isaac Hill to hold to them and their heirs forever and that at her decease the said dower or third part of my real estate aforesaid be equally divided between my said Children or such of them that may be then living, to hold as aforesaid. But should my said Wife not marry, but live and die my Widow it is my will that she have a comfortable maintenances out of my estate should those be sufficient for that purpose.
And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Lucinda Hill sole Executrix of this my Last will and Testament.
