He deeded lands to his son John when he was about to marry Mary Monjoy; acknowledged 13 Aug 1657. His wife died 15 Sep 1651. He then married Elizabeth, widow of Roger Bancroft. His widow married 3rd, John Bridge. An agreement was made between Elizabeth, John and Martin Saunders, and Francis Eliot, all of Braintree, the widow and children of Martin Saunders, late of Braintree, was signed 28 Sep, and endorsed by Elizabeth Bridge, late widow of Martin Saunders, 7 Apr 1659..3
