Robert H. Hill, 69, of Hudson, died July 16, 2003, at Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease complicated by pneumonia.
Mr. Hill was born March 1, 1934, in Chelmsford, Mass., son of the late Arthur J. and Florence (Gillman) Hill.
He was the husband of Gloria (Boisclair) Hill.
Mr. Hill worked as a senior configuration management engineer for Textron Defense Systems, formerly AVCO Corp., in Wilmington, Mass.
He attended Dracut, Mass., schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School. He later went on to graduate from the Franklin Technical Institute in Boston, receiving his associate’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Survivors include his former wife, Dorothy Dawson Hill of Pelham, with whom he raised his four children; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lilia Hill of Wilton and Todd and Carrie Hill of Dracut; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra and Peter Ippedico of Sunapee and Robin Casseres of Pelham; nine grandchildren, Danielle Lebel, Ryan Vlcko, Audrey Vlcko, Jacqueline Casseres, Robert Hill, Stephen Hill, Joni Hill, Nicholas Ippedico and Douglas Hill; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Ingrid Hill of Raymond, Maine, and Arthur and Karen Hill of Bath, Pa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral services was held July 19 at The Pelham Funeral Home in Pelham. Committal services will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare, Attn: John Getts for 5-2, 55 Harris Road, Nashua, NH 03062.5
