She was a 1945 graduate of FK Lane High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Gambardella was a legal secretary.
She was a resident of Garden City, N.Y., moving to Rutland in 2001.
Surviving are daughters, Susan Cassarino and husband Jeff of Rutland, Lisa Goldblatt and husband Nick of Smyrna, Ga; four grandchildren, Andrew Cassarino and Kyle Cassarino, both of Rutland, Brian Goldblatt and Jason Goldblatt, both of Smyrna, Ga.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Gambardella, in 2001; two brothers, Howard Waldron and William Waldron; four sisters, Elizabeth Becker, Dorothy Misiano, Viola Waldron and Bertha Waldron.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in the Clifford Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. James Dodson, assistant pastor of Christ the King Church.
Friends may call at the Clifford Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hugh immigrated to Pennsylvania a 1720.2 He built his home in Sadsbury Township, Chester Co., PA. He was an Elder of the Octoraro Presbyterian Church.7,8 He sold property to James Cowan on 7 Nov 1748 at Sadsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The deed identified James as Hugh Cowan's oldest son:
"THIS INDENTURE made the 7th day of November in the year of our Lord 1748 between Hugh Cowan of Sadsbury Township in the County of Chester Yeoman of the one part and james Cowan of the same place, Wheelwright, the eldest son and Heir at law of him the said Hugh Cowan of the other part".
